My favorite follow up to this book, another by this author:
How They Met
Allan tells his story on what synchronicity means to him in his experience of teaching literature for a number of years and the truths literature holds and expresses through myth to the reader.
I think it is a unique path to take a walk down, as far as other books on the subject go.
What the one star reviewers of this book are on about is a mystery to me.
Obviously there seems to be two camps here when it comes to reading this book.
"Loved it", or "Hated it", so I'll have to choose the "Loved it" camp, as it's a book that I feel belongs in my bookcase, sitting beside all the other good books on synchronicity that I've collected through the years.
Allan Hunter certainly gives the reader a lot presenting the path of Synchronicity by demonstrating (as one would expect of a professor of English Literature) how characters from literature have or have not followed it throughout centuries. He shows us how to be in the flow and what the barriers to synchronicity are.
He discusses topics such as the flow versus the force, letting go off the ego, the shadow self, how spiders never give up, how the universe gives us exactly what we ask for, however it's not words that matter but our energy and emotions, and many many more.
Fascinating, smart, at times challenging, invites you to question your belief system.
