Assembly took time and was awkward but went ok. Turned it on as directed, but it keeps going out after a minute or so. We hired a service person to come and fix it. Our service man called the manufacturer's service line and they talk a long time. Our service man did all he was told to do. But after 90 minutes and $75 he could not get it to work. We contacted Amazon and were told the 30 day return window had expired. It was delivered on Sept 29. If it had arrived 2 days later (Oct 1) we could have returned it until January 30, 2021. We are not happy at all. What do we do with this $511 heater that does not work?

All heat lamps like these are made pretty much the same way and are a bit challenging to put together, but once you get it assembled - which has been made much easier over the years - it looks great and is easy to use. This lamp is sturdy, and the coffee color fits well with a wide variety of decors. We're very happy with our purchase.

Incredibly easy to assemble. Very clear directions. Parts were layed out in very simple packaging. You won’t need any tools as a small wrench is also provided but would grab an adjustable wrench and Phillips head screwdriver too (I used to better tighten). Took about an hour total to put together and the heat output is terrific. It also looks great on our patio. It’s a little more expensive than some others but we’re very happy with this purchase, and will be using it a lot!

This is the second patio heater we purchased to survive outdoor dining during the pandemic. We did some modifications on the wheels to make them roll better, and added a weight to the base to wind proof the unit. Also the gas dial is backwards, high is actually low. But these were minor problems and now the unit is working nicely. Provides plenty of heat at an outdoor dining table.

Mine was upwards of $450 and then the next week was shown at $309. Seller would not consider reimbursement. This transaction was not as satisfying as other Amazon transaction.
