Amazing upload speeds. When I set out to upload four massive Kontakt libraries to this drive tonight, I was expecting to see speeds maxing out in the 35-45MB/s range. I was astonished to find that the uploads occurred at an average upload speed of about 68MB/s with peaks exceeding 84MB/s. This is in a relatively old Shuttle XPC powered by an i7 2600K running at 3.8GHz, and downloaded from an old Samsung 500GB HDD spinning at 7200 RPM.. In two days I will be downloading the libraries onto a Eluktronics 1TB SSD in a computer running an i7 6700K OC'd to 4.6GHz. I can't wait to see what the transfer rate will be, but I'm expecting well over 150MB/s. At any rate, this is, by far, the fastest under $50 USB thumb drive I've ever used. I highly recommend this stick. Supersonic, indeed!
Edit: Did the downloads on Friday. The download speed to the Eluktronics SSD hovered around 160-165MB/s, usually with slow but quickly accelerating starts to stable speed (remember, these are all sequential files averaging about 30GB). Top download speed noted was 202MB/s (but it was achieving that only for a few seconds), but bursts in the 180MB/s range that lasted for over 30 seconds were very common. Additionally, I acquired a 256GB part over the weekend, and I saw similar upload speeds to it (again massive Kontakt libraries), from an 1TB SSD in a 4.6GHz 6700K box, although long duration upload speeds in excess of 60MB/s were more common.
Final thoughts: I am very impressed with the performance of these Patriot XT parts, but I ordered a Patriot Supersonic RAGE 128GB last night, and I'll compare the performance with the XT sometime next week.

Blazing Fast Read Speed, Good Sequential Write Speed, Average to Poor Random Write Speed.
I purchased the Patriot 256GB Boost XT USB 3 flash drive and it performs extremely well... for read purposes and most write purposes.See the attached photo of the CrystalDiskMark bench on my system.The sequential read speed is other-worldly at speeds around 350 MB/sec or greater. The sequential write speed is often 60 to 90 MB/sec which is great. Random read speed is on par with other USB 3 flash drives with 8.5 MB/sec. The random write speeds are where this USB flash drive has the bottleneck. The random writes are much slower than other offerings.The flash drive arrives in a good package, and has a soft rubbery grip that is nice and sturdy. However, instead of a more practical slide cap, the cap actually pops off, and one needs to attach it to the other end during use, or risk misplacing it. Even then, there is the possibility that the cap can fall off.The drive's main purpose with my system is to permanently store several thousand files totaling about 200GB, and accessed frequently and regularly by a piece of software I regularly use. For that, the sequential read speed is of utmost importance.
