Awesome accompaniment for blocks

My four-year old doesn't use these as much as I thought she would, as she likes to really think outside the box and create more abstract designs. However, my two-year old loves the concreteness of the pictures, and I'm surprised at how quickly she's caught on to how one is supposed to fit the blocks onto the page. I really thought I'd be using them with my older child, but hey, I guess they have different ideas. :)

These are really nice. They have a lot of really fun, neat patterns. My four year old likes them. Truthfully, it isn't one of her favorite toys, but occasionally she enjoys playing with them. My 3 year old enjoys the pattern blocks, but really doesn't do much with the cards. They are quite flimsy, but they weren't designed to be tossed into the toy box anyway. I keep them on a shelf with the blocks, and they seem to be holding up much better than expected.

As a retired teacher, I am always looking for educational toys/items for my grandchildren. I love these cards. They range from very easy to challenging but are great for 3 year olds and up. My grandson loves playing with his pattern blocks and really liked the challenge of copying these patterns. For young children, they can place the blocks right over the shape on the cards. Older children can copy them off the cards.

We purchased these cards with the Plastic Pattern Blocks (Set of 250)by Learning Resources. The cards are pretty sturdy but because I'm homeschooling and I have a 4 year old, 2 year old and a 5 month old, I used my laminator to give them extra protection. My 4 year old loves these! They are a bid advanced for my 2 year old, although the first few cards (they go in numerical order of easy to difficult) are a bit easier for her. I definately recommed this activity!!

These cards are a great value and offer 4 levels of difficulty. I was thrilled to find these great pattern cards for such a great price!

I use them with my 2 year old. I am going to laminate them because my daughter dents them with her hands cause she presses too hard. They are like a poster-board material with a glossy front. If the material were a bit tougher I would've given it a 5 but I think this material is pretty typical for pattern cards.

I don't think you will be disappointed.

Blocks Fit Nicely, Great For Learning How to Construct Patterns

These pattern cards are great for my 2.5 year old to start learning about putting patterns together. The cards are 8.5" x 11" glossy cardstock and come in a plastic ziploc type storage bag. We bought the Smethport 200 Foam Magnet Pattern Blocks to go with these cards. The patterns are easy enough to follow and great for developing my son's fine motor skills. The blocks fit perfectly on top of the card or you can make the pattern on a magnetic board to the side. (See pictures added above)

There is a nice variety of creative designs to get him started. They're both fun and a challenging at the same time!
