I am so impressed with the stories and vulnerabilities that Brigham shares in this book-- it is raw and REAL and very relatable. He shares ways of how he is continually working to overcome certain human tendencies that hold us all back from reaching our full potential, desired goals, and opportunities to grow. He talks about the internal workings of our mind and what we need to do to shift to a higher level of thinking and behaving. It made me reflect a lot about myself, my life, relationships, and to focus on what I need to do to make sure that next month, next year, or next 5 years, I am performing at a higher version of myself. I would highly recommend this book to any and all- it inspires, it motivates, and most of all, it leads us to take action.

Reading Brigham's book has given me a different perspective on business and sales. "Our work must be about others--the customer." Brigham's book taught me to change my perspective on business. We have to focus on the experience of the customer as the first priority. "Simply put, customers want to buy from people and companies they like, and they will like you because of how you make them feel--not because of how much you saved them or the product or service you offered." This is one of the points that he makes that has made such a difference for me. I have changed my focus and I have already seen improvement with sales. I am now focusing much more on customer experience and I am applying all the principles I have learned from his first book and this one. Not only does this book have really helpful business advice, but it's also helpful for personal life. I really love the storytelling throughout the book and how each story ties it all together with the point that he is making. Really great lessons for business, sales, customer experience, and life! I highly recommend this book!!

Thought Provoking Book

Near the start of the book, Brigham mentions that most of the ideas in the book aren't new. Then why did it make me think so much? I think the stories and the follow up thoughts, combined with the application of the concepts make it worth reading. Living these principles with help you be a better spouse, a boss or an employee, but most importantly, just a better person.
