When pointing this out to PF, their response...was that I needed to hand wash the shirts because the starch used in professional laundering "tightens" up the fabric of their shirts...
Can you believe that response? I think the real answer is that they use cheap material to make their shirts which they can sell for $20. Once again, you get what you pay for..
I suppose anyone who is familiar with shirts from this store assumes that they must be sent out to be pressed. If not and you purchased these "finest 2 ply cotton shirts" be prepared to pay for pressing. Never again.
If you want a decent men's dress shirt with quality customer service and an easy return policy, I would suggest Nordstrom's. If you want the worst poorly made quality men's dress shirt where the collar turns yellow very fast, I would suggest Paul Frederick.
I mailed back the shirts to Paul Frederick and rather than receiving a return phone call, they just mailed back the original shirts to me with a generic letter.Salvation Army here I come and Paul Frederick has lost me as a customer for life.
I have been 100% happy with the Charles Tyrhwhitt brand and am looking for other online shirt retailers where you don't have to spend a fortune like $150-$550 a shirt as on some other sites. People go online to find something different and hopefully save money vs a bricks and mortar store.
