About Paul J. Teague
Hi, I'm Paul Teague, the author of the Don't Tell Meg and Morecambe Bay trilogies as well as several other standalone psychological thrillers such as Now You See Her, Dead of Night, One Last Chance, No More Secrets and So Many Lies.
I'm a former broadcaster and journalist with the BBC, but I have also worked as a primary school teacher, a disc jockey, a shopkeeper, a waiter and a sales rep.
I've read thrillers all my life, starting with Enid Blyton's Famous Five series as a child, then graduating to James Hadley Chase, Harlan Coben, Linwood Barclay and Mark Edwards.
If you love those authors then you’ll like my thrillers too.
I started off writing thrillers with the Don’t Tell Meg Trilogy which draws upon my 18-year career in radio journalism.
It’s fast-moving, high action and a bit racy in places, but it was great fun writing the story and I hope to re-visit the characters one day.
My Morecambe Bay Trilogy is based in and around a traditional UK seaside resort and has proven very popular with readers who like a strong sense of location in their stories.
My standalone books are ‘can’t-put-down’ stories where normal people find themselves in extraordinary situations.
In Dead of Night, Jack and Lucy hit a man on an isolated road in the middle of nowhere and get caught up in a violent, high-stakes hunt.
No More Secrets is set in the Scottish Highlands and tells the story of Katy Wild who has to fight to stay alive in the isolated hills and woodland.
In One Last Chance, Matt Dalton gets involved with a billionaire entrepreneur only to find that he should have been careful what he wished for.
I love writing thrillers and plan on writing many more in the years ahead.
I also write sci-fi and dystopian novels as Paul Teague and these stories are set in dark and sinister future-worlds.
I have written The Secret Bunker Trilogy, The Grid Trilogy and the standalone story, Phase 6.

A tragic accident. A broken woman. The return of a stranger ...
When a distressed woman is found in an abandoned car at the end of a slipway in Morecambe, the local police are baffled.
There’s no trace of her husband or three young children and she has no recollection of what happened.
After a stranger turns up in the town twenty years later, thought to be one of the missing children, Charlotte Grayson works with her friend from the local newspaper to investigate the news story which shocked the seaside resort.
As the pieces begin to fall into place, Charlotte is stunned to see that a newly recruited DCI Kate Summers had been assigned to work the case in 2000.
Only as a young officer, she’d had to conceal a terrible secret - and now it’s caught up with her.
Trust Me Once is a fast-paced thriller that will see Charlotte Grayson facing terrible danger once again - only this time she’s fighting to save the woman to whom she owes her life.
Please note that this book ends on a cliffhanger which is resolved fully over parts 2 & 3 of this second trilogy.

A mistake from the past. An unspeakable evil. A death which will open old wounds ...
When a mutilated body is found in an abandoned house on Morecambe’s seafront, the police are quick to disassociate it from a similar murder that shocked the resort in the 90s.
But the residents of Morecambe know what this is, and they remember only too well the events which once shook the seaside town to its core.
