Let the battle of the dice commence!
Perudo is a version of the classic Peruvian game of liar dice which is part-luck and part-skill and is played by many celebrities. Perudo is an exciting game of guesswork, bluff and luck that can be played anywhere by anyone. Playing well requires an ability to deceive and also to detect your opponent's deception.
How to Play
Played by two to six players, each opponent begins with five dice hidden under a cup. The concept is simple, make a call of how many of one number dice you believe there are combined on the table, bearing in mind 1’s or ace are wild and can count as any number. 8 four’s or 12 two’s for example, the next player then has to increase the call either in the number of the dice of that value or the value of the dice for example 9 four’s or 12 three’s. Be careful though, the wrong call can have your opponent’s doubting you and calling ‘Dudo’, exposing your hand to see if your call could be the truth or if a little bit of bluffing has been occurring along the way! If there are not the correct number of the dice left on the table then the player challenged loses one of their dice.
How to Win
The winner is the last player standing with any dice left under their cup! There is no board, no setting-up, and no complicated rules. Perudo makes a perfect after dinner or travel game and is suitable for anyone aged 8 to 108!
There is no board, no setting up and no complicated rules, so this makes the ideal after dinner or travel game. This version packs away neatly into a tin to protect it and make it more portable.

Comes in a super sturdy tin, with a nice cloth bag. Let down only by light-weight dice (plural of die :-P) and cheap plastic cups - moulded to simulate leather.
Perhaps there should be a Deluxe model with weighted chunky dice, leather cups and a wooden box . . . here's hoping!
Its certainly an addictive game; maybe not to the degree of 'Dobble' or the old classic 'Plus and Minus', but it is certainly up there with the great games - but don't expect the essence of the game to be anything original.
Yes, it certainly is a family game for all ages . . . its says from age 8 on the tin, but a bright 6 year old could handle his game too! Great game;
8.5 / 10
We have taking this on holiday a few time, we are a group of adults and love the game.
There are standard rules then a few add ons in the rules to adjust slightly when you get the hang of it.
The tin is perfect for traveling/storage. Would always buy the tin version of the game.
