I bought this on the advice of a friend, who is a hair dresser, for my teenager who has oily hair. I noticed a huge difference when he came down today in the way his hair looked. Not oily; just healthy with only one use of this shampoo! I like the smell of it and he doesn't seem to mind it either. I have not bought the conditioner as he doesn't use it so I can't speak about that.
I'd give it 5 stars, but it's just so expensive...I can't.
The problem was embarrassing, and the worsening was worrying me. I went to my dermatologist; they prescribed two very strong anti-dandruff shampoos (ketoconazole 2% and ciclopirox 1% if you're curious) that are intended to be used in a short term manner. I tried both.
I believe those helped cut back the volume of those grains and change the environment of my scalp, but I felt a little uncomfortable putting chemicals/drugs that strong on my scalp. I quickly turned to this tea tree oil-based shampoo to maintain the improvement. Before you ask why didn't I use it sooner, I didn't think this was as powerful as other OTCs like Selsun, and it's hard to swing the price tag.
Turns out this is sufficient to keep the little grains at bay. Other pluses include that it doesn't dry out my scalp or feel harsh, and smells great (nice after using Selsun and those Rx shampoos which have a very medicinal odor).
I still get a few grains here and there, mainly the day after, as I wash my hair every other day, but nothing like I used to. My second day hair also looks much less oily.Read more ›

This made dandruff worse. He now has bloody dry spots from scratching so much. I buzzed his hair today and ordered medical treatment. This is ridiculous.Published 1 day ago by Malory Crawley
I did not buy this on Amazon, but I dislike it so much that I have to write a review. Also, I've always been a fan of PM so I'm also disappointed in this fail as a shampoo. Read morePublished 2 days ago by buddhababenyc
Make sure you leave it on your hair for a while to get the tingly effect.
I believe this is why people complain about not the same experience as the salon experience. Read more
I loved the palmade from this brand. I bought this and loved the smell. However, its tingle was quite intense if you keep it on your head too long.Published 8 days ago by Chris Seemann
