I'm a huge fan of the Max Payne series. Max Payne 3, the most recent game, is one of the tightest shooters I've ever played. It controls amazingly, either with a keyboard/mouse or a controller. The storyline is a little different than the first two, trading the alleys of New York for the slums of Brazil. If you can get with the change, this is still classic Max, complete with the film noir narrative and Hong Kong action movie styling.

Honestly, you probably know the first two games. They're two of the most influential games of the previous generation. They're a little dated now, sure, but still tons of fun and totally worth playing (or playing again.) They control great on PC, and there are a variety of mods available for the two games that can add to your fun and replayability.

It's a great pack, if you can catch it on sale it's an even better pack.

a quick note: I didn't play much of the multiplayer so I don't want to comment too much, but what I played was pretty fun, with lots of leveling and unlocks to grind through. If that's your bag, you'll probably really enjoy it.

The games are ok, i got the older maxpayne games to bring back memories but after i started playing i quickly realized all the games prior to max payne 3 were crap; i'm not quite sure what i was so hooked on in my teen years....

I must admit I've never played a Max Payne game before, but Max Payne 3 was pretty awesome.
Interesting story, great graphics, and fun.
Difficulty adjustments are possible, so you can always have a challenge.
I appreciate being able to not have to be constantly afraid of dying, since even if I'm not too good at these types of games I can still enjoy it while making my way through intense scenes.

And now that Max Payne 3 is available for Mac as well, you can play on any computer.
Worth it, for Max Payne 3 alone, but hey! You may like MP 1 and 2 as well

I spent countless hours downloading this, only to have it crash every time I run it. And because of Amazon's policies, I can't get a refund. I am so mad.

The other two games take forever to load on a Windows 8 system, but they do work. However, they are incompatible with most gamepad controllers. Max Payne 3 will not authenticate on Steam, no matter what. It will say that the key server is not there and then will close the game. I am disappointed severely in this as I would like to play all 3 games. That being said, the value of the pack is good for the price (except that the user should be able to play all 3 games).

Trouble with the key on Steam: bought this item on Dec 22nd and registered the same day on Steam. Steam won't let me start the game because it didn't have the key. Many people were in the same situation, because trouble between Valve (Steam) and Rockstar (Max Payne).

I could begin to play only after a couple of weeks, in the middle of January.

I know it is not an Amazon fault, but it is worth mentioning.

The game (Max Payne 3) itself is a bit old technically speaking (graphics over all) but for that price it is awesome. The other two games are masterpieces of their time, you should definetly play them if you haven't.

I love the older Max Payne games, but Max Payne 3 is strange and not like the first two. One can see the reviews for 3 and see what they have to say. I reflect that sentiment. But since this is for the whole pack, I'm glad to see that Amazon has put this together. The original is so classic, I love the Bullet Time system and fighting style.
