This book is a fascinating story thru pictures and history of this symbol that really defined a young generation who grew up in the 1960's. The symbol is still recognized today but for more nostalgic reasons than protests and free thinking. That is ashame, we have had a definite need of the symbol in the last 20 years, hopefully it won't have to be a symbol of protest against the government but as a reason to embrace love and not war. A fascinating book that will drive conservatives mad but will give the rest a reason of hope and a smile.
