There are so many new drugs on the market that are not in this book. And many of the ones in here are completely unobtainable without your own prescription pad. And it does not provide ways to obtain them from overseas or otherwise as that would take much newer sources. It does let the average person know how difficult it is to pull off a euthanasia with prescription meds. And hopefully would discourage many from trying something that would just ultimately do harm and make a bad situation worse.

In the first five sentences that I read (which happened to be near the middle of the book), there were nine grammatical errors. I am not joking: nine of them, in five sentences. And I am not talking about typographical errors, of which there are also a great many. I mention this not because I am a pedant, but because I do not see how anyone could possibly trust anything that is said by people (in this case, two co-authors who sometimes refer to themselves as "I") who not only cannot write grammatical sentences, but do not feel any obligation to proofread what they have written. If they are that ignorant and that lazy, they are the last people I would trust to advise me about anything.

How can anyone decline an invitation to review this book ! It’s not a typical holiday read, and I suspect you’d get a few odd glances if you read it in public. That of course is not the point. This book is essential reading for terminally ill folk, who have the sense of mind that they don’t wish to burden family as their lives reach a state of deterioration such that the concept of existing purely ‘for the sake of it’ ... no longer attracts. It certainly is not steering you to any course of action, as critics may suggest , and l felt this to be an excellent guide to researching and actioning a mode by which one may choose to ‘check out’ efficiently and painlessly when a terminal illness reaches an advanced state beyond which you have made the presumed fully reasoned decision to draw life to a close. Of course, just touching upon the subject is an ethical/moral minefield, but ignorance and denial of such material is unhelpful too. Hats off to the authors

Over complicated manual. Useless.

Unless your understanding of pills and gases is excellent. The ideas are poorly explained. It's like tiny paragraphs each page explaining nothing. Talking law and just leaves you confused. And they say death is easy.
