5.0 out of 5 stars Reliable
By Amazon Customer on March 24, 2018
After tedious and extensive research regarding heavy duty camera straps that include the option of a slide feature, I decided to trust Peak Design. I am positive that my camera will be safe while I carry it around with me hiking the outdoors, wedding shoots, casually walking around...I feel that my baby is safe connected to the unique features Peak Design offers.

The reviews written for other slide camera straps had me feeling uneasy because for every slide camera strap, there was a one star review about how a component from the strap broke causing their camera to fall. I thought to myself, is it really worth risking to buy a cheaper camera strap that will be carrying thousands of dollars? Hell no.

Peak Deisgn is reliable and sturdy. It’s built with strength and I am comfortable enough to walk around with it. The strap doesn’t hurt my shoulders...it actually makes my heavy equipment a bit lighter. My only concern is about the how the strap was put together...the buckles get caught in my hair if I have it down. Prior to purchasing the strap, I was concerned with the metal buckles hitting the camera while it’s in the bag, but now that I have it, it’s not a big deal. It’s easy enough to clip off the strap and put it in the nice bag it comes with. It’s pricey but I’m trying to keep my baby safe.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best strap I have had
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on July 21, 2019
Having previously used Black Rapid which I found let the camera move around far to much, particularly with a heavy lens on, and a Joby strap which couldn’t support a heavy camera lens combo without constant readjustment, plus various others I thought I would try this Peak design strap, and love its build quality, versatility across a wide range of usage and equipment combos, ease of adjustment when wearing which is second to non, and it’s comfortable!

3.0 out of 5 stars Overpriced, bulky and dubious quality.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on August 21, 2020
As usual, I was sold by the marketing, lots of nice packaging etc, but its very bulky and I'm not sure I like it yet, we will see long-term, I like the idea of the quick-release tags though and the sliding adjusters seem to work well, I have got two spare button tags for my binoculars.
I am easily sold to and bought this on a whim, but having got it I wish I hadn't splurged fifty four quid on a camera strap.
Postscript: I never did get on with, it developed an irreversible crease in the centre of the strap where it was folded and I didn’t like this, it never felt comfortable and I think it was over hyped and definitely overpriced. I sold it on recently and good riddance.
