This is more sturdy and functional than I expected. I was convinced to try it after seeing a guy on YouTube jump up and down with his camera attached and the camera stayed put.
I still wear a neck strap as I am still building confidence but I've had no close calls dropping the camera.
It is sturdy. I like the screws that you can turn by hand. I also like the screws you need the tool to tighten.
What I don't like is that on some of my backpacks with a thick and dense strap, this just doesn't close all the way down. There needs to be an option for this. I know they say to squish the strap and that works on some bags. But certain backpacks have very strong, wide, dense straps that do not squish down enough.
If they make that option available, I might buy a second one so I don't have to keep moving this between packs.
