Product Description
You won't sleep through this alarm. Sometimes the old way of doing things really is better.
There are lots of other alarm clocks on the market targeted at heavy sleepers that require you to solve some kind of puzzle, or shoot a target, or retrieve some kind of flying propeller to silence the alarm clock. They all have the same major flaw, they depend on you being able to actually hear the alarm and wake up first. They are all useless if you don't wake up to silence the alarm in the first place.
The PEAKEEP Twin Bell is loud enough to wake you from a dead sleep and looks good while doing it. Your pay for this alarm clock is nothing compared to potentially losing a job from being late to work all the time.
If you’re a heavy sleeper or hearing impaired or hearing loss and it takes an act of God and congress to wake you from a deep sleep. Before owning this alarm clock, maybe you had used to utilize serval different devices’ alarm functions and you would regularly sleep through all of these alarms going off in unison and would arrive at your job 2 to 3 hours late at least once a week. At the recommendation of Amazon, it’s time to get an “old fashioned” alarm clock. This PEAKEEP Twin Bell Alarm clock will be working flawlessly at waking you up in the mornings.
You will wake up to this alarm clock for the first time and WOW is it effective. It's so loud that it not only wakes you up, but it scares the day lights out of you so that you jump out of bed too. No falling back asleep with this one around! Besides the extremely effective alarm, it is darn cute. If you wanted to cut back on the digital items in your bedroom, and this is an attractive way to do so.
It's built very well, attractive and effective.
Hands glow in the dark for a few minutes
- Hold the clock directly under a light for a short time and the hands glows brightly for a few minutes.
- Reflective hands are easier to press the lightup button instead (if you can find it ) and then you can read it better with blurry sleep filled eyes.
- The glow in the dark backglow that fades as you go to sleep.
Silent no tick-tock noise
- Quiet sweep movement offers a second hand that moves in a continuous motion around the dial with NO TICKING, doesn't tick for restless sleepers.
- It is completely silent, there is no annoying ticking or winding.
- It's built very well, so it doesn't feel cheap. The second hand is definitely silent and it's very easy to set.
Dots for the number face
- There're two scale rings, bigger one is for clock time, smaller one is for alarm.
- On the bigger scale ring, there’re 4 small dots between each hour, each indicates 1 minute of clock time.O
- on the smaller scale ring, each dot indicates 10 minutes for alarm. You can get an alarm accuracy via the smaller scale ring.

You will notice that between each hour number, there are little dots. Those dots represent 10 minute intervals. So if you want to set your alarm for 12:30, for example, move the alarm hand to halfway between 12 and 1. So that's why the alarm is only precise to within 10 minutes.
The long version is, this is the first alarm clock I've used in a decade that is loud enough to wake me up consistently, without being so obnoxious that I wake up in a bad mood. For the first time in over 2 years, I've started waking up at the same time every day before my alarm. I cannot possibly overstate how important and benificial this has been on my mood, my productivity, and my physical health. This may be the most benificial purchase I've made in the last decade. Seriously.
Personal benifits aside, this alarm clock is quite pretty, and the alarm is a nice mix of ear splittingly loud with a pleasant authentic real ringing that doesn't have the same bad feeling as other electronic clocks. Overall: pretty good.
Now, for the "negatives". The alarm clock only has a 12 hour mode, which means you have to turn it off in the morning and back on before you go to bed. It's tedious. The alarm is only accurate up to 5 minutes, which means you can't wake up at a specific time, and adjusting the alarm involves a unhealthy amount of turning one of the two small gears on the back.
I call those things "negatives", because each one subtly forces you into a better sleep routine. The difficulty of changing the alarm incentivises you to wake up at the same time, which is one of the most impactful and benificial things for your personal and mental health. Having to turn on and off the alarm every day has made me more consistent in my before and after bed routine, which has improved my sleep hygene (it's a thing, look it up). And the innacuracy of the alarm has made me get up earlier, which helps me have more relaxed mornings. It's like the designers knew how to break all my bad sleep habits by designing the most limiting product ever. I love this thing. Everyone needs one.
