Even thought the ‘use by’ date for this food item is ok, this product must have been stored badly, because this entire bag of chocolate covered peanuts is stale. The colorful candy coating also has white speckles where the coating has oxidized, which probably has something to do with how they were stored and why they taste bad. I used to get this item from the local grocery store, so I know what it should taste like. But then the local grocery stopped carrying this product, so I ordered these from Amazon. But this is a disappointing experience. And i ordered two bags! And grocery items aren’t returnable. I know what this product is normally like, so I foresaw no problem ordering these online. But it is a problem because they really aren’t worth eating as they taste so bad. And they weren’t cheap. Bummer.

P.S.—seller responded with a full refund, I appreciate that.
