Product description

This unit replaces the magazine base plate on the SIG P365 (10 round magazines). This extension does not alter the capacity of the magazine. It adds approximately 5/8" inch additional gripping surface (1/4" longer than factory extension) as well as enhanced ergonomics. The enhanced gripping surface also incorporates a texture which closely matches the frame of the firearm.

Longer than expected overall length

I do no care for the flush fit 10 round magazine as my pinky hangs completely off the firearm, I purchased this as a replacement. The factory extended grip 10 round magazine barely allows my pinky to grip the firearm, far better than just hanging off the bottom. This particular
grip extension allows my hand a proper 3 fingered grip which is much appreciated for someone not accustomed to subcompacts. That said, as shown in the pictures provided, there is no difference between the overall length of this grip extension and the factory 12 round magazine, save for the steep angle towards the rear of the magazine. I don't regret the purchase, as the quality is good, but wouldn't reccomend it unless you do not live in a free state that makes any magazine over 10 rounds illegal.

Prefer it over the factory extension

Purchased to replace the flush 10rd mag base plate. Made it's way to the mag I have in the carry pistol. The point extends slightly further than the extended factory mag. For larger hands this one gives you that bit of extra meat to gaurantee a perfect pistol purchase when you go for it, especially in a high stress scenario. The front end where your pinky rests has similar stippling as the factory frame. The sides are smooth but do not make it slippery since you're really only contacting the front with your pinky. This is actually preferred since that is the place that rides up against your skin while holstered (makes IWB carry more comfortabl). I rely on this as my carry mag over the factory base plate. Has not caused any mag malfunctions and was very easy to install. If you were looking to ditch that lame useless flush mag this will convert it into a worthy spare or main mag.

A year after getting my P365 I still had not shot more than a handful of rounds with the flat-baseplate magazine. My hands are not large but the flat baseplate magazine did not give a secure grip. The factory extended magazine was much better and still concealed well. But, my most comfortable hold of the pistol was with the 12-round magazine. So I carried the stock 10-round mag with the extension but mostly shot it with the 12-rounder. I had good experience with the Pearce Grip extensions on other guns that I own. So I ordered two of these to upgrade both of the factory 10-round magazines. Installation took about a minute for each magazine.
They fit well, look great, are easy for me to use in concealed-carry, and function flawlessly. The overall height of the magazines with the Pierce Grip is about the same as the OEM 12-rounder but they conceal about the same as the 10-round extended magazine. I could not be more pleased!

An easy mod for the P365XL.

I contacted Pearce customer service to see if they had plans on making this for the XL model. The answer was not at this time but they gave me instructions on how to sand the tabs down to make it fit. Using a belt sander it was very easy and I now have a better grip on this little gun.

Excellent option for slightly bigger hands

I previously purchased the 12 round magazine because the Sig's grip is too small for my hand. While the 12 round magazine helps, I felt it added some instability to the handle. It somehow did not feel like a natural extension of the grip.

I then purchased this Pearce Grip and have to say that while I don't get the additional two rounds, the feel is much more stable and natural. It also does not effect concealment in any way. Very nice product. I highly recommend it.

too steep of an angle to reload with the LULa

I changed out the flush base out on Sig P 365 magazine, so I had more pinky room, like the other supplied magazine.
This one looked like it would be similar to the original one, but it has such a long lip, that it will not sit well on the flat surface, to load with the LULA. The Backward angle makes the magazine tip back and the cartridge will not push straight down.
It is cheaper than some of the others, but I wish I had paid a little more and gotten the NDZ milled aluminium one that I just replaced it with.
A new Sig magazine is $42 so even at #20 for the NDZ, it is cheaper to change the base than to replace the mag.

Perfect fit on the front side, ends right at the bottom of my pinky! Wish it extended a little lower on the heel side of the grip like the 12 round factory mag grip does... I'll keep it and add it to one of my 10 round mags, but it could be a tad longer on the heel side. Other than that I like it a lot. It'll work in a pinch!

I installed one of these on the flat-bottomed magazine of my P365 and compared it to the factory extended magazine. The Pearce extension fits my pinky finger perfectly; the factory extension not so much. I think they're a little overpriced for what you get, but a great product.
