One of our most popular products. A neutral colored blended paste that cleans, conditions, preserves and weatherproofs all smooth oil-tanned leather to keep it supple, strong and beautiful. This specialty formulated blend of waxes and USP Grade Petroleum products help repel dirt and water from entering the leather where they cause the greatest damage. The oils in the dressing lubricate and plump up the fibers so that they can move smoothly against each other without binding and abrading. Our products contain NO animal fat or tallow, mink oil, lanolin, or neatsfoot oil. May darken leather a shade but not significantly. Not recommended for Suede or NuBuck leather.

It is thick, so it did not seep into the liner and polished off easily. It has a light smell that will not wear off on the leather. I am extremely pleased that I chose this brand over all of the other more visible ones. It took a lot of digging to find out about it, but seems to be the go-to choice for professionals and it shows. It is also priced very well. The description lists this as "automotive" but it is listed on their website as a fashion/furniture dressing. They have other specialty products for cars, etc.
I attached a before and after picture so you can see how nice it cleaned up the edge, it also really brought out the nice natural leather color in the belt. I love the look of natural undyed vegetable tanned leather and I really like how this beeswax based dressing shined it up, and it will really help protect my nice belt for years to come.
I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a good leather dressing, I mean come on they've been around since 1902! You don't stay in business that long by being sub-par! Go ahead and grab a 6oz tub it will last forever and you will be very pleased, much better than gross smelling chemical alternatives. 5 stars!
I also tried this product on a pair of nice lamb skin gloves but they seem to have a tacky feel to them now, even after buffing. Perhaps soft dress leather isn't the best for this product. Again, they restored color but I'm really hoping those return to its normal feel.
I like that this is made in the USA, made of natural ingredients, and contains no lanolin or animal fat unlike mink oil, yet still gives the jacket water resistant properties
Days and days after, the glue like grease still left on top of the boots without being absorbed or vaporized, which made me suspect that the chemical grease is well made of some mineral/petroleum by products, so I researched a bit on line with lots of review from well-known cobblers or shoemakers, on this particular Pecard product, I then rushed to wipe my boots right away with deep, deep regret and huge shame of my own stupidity which almost ruined my lovely sturdy boots!
The ramification is still quite there and hard to reverse, the cap toes of my C&J Coniston are very much cloudy with shades of greased marks, cannot shine no matter how much Saphir wax applied or however I buffed!
This might be good conditioner and leather dressing for sofa, car seats or maybe jackets, for the fine leather like pricey dress shoes, STAY AWAY from it! Don't smother your European leather shoes with this!
