This is a re-engineered version of the original by the same name. The whole concept of this tool is that it can accurately file away the growth on clawed animals. In order to do that the sanding drum needs to spin on its axis in a balanced manner without any vibration. I have bought two of these to replace my older unit of the original design. On the exterior they all look alike. Inside they have different battery contacts, different motors and different arbors. The new motor is very weak as compared to the original. the new battery contacts do not stay in-place. and lastly... The wost part is the new arbor. The new arbor is extremely poorly made and cannot operate in anything like a balanced manner.
Upon receiving the first replacement (which did not even run!) - I tried to contact the supplier and got absolutely no-where! I was told that I could not return it to Amazon until I had spoken with the supplier. That never happened. It is like the supplier fell off the face of the earth! Sooo... I purchased another one from a different supplier. This one ran but was so out of balance it was unusable. Same story on contacting the supplier. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY - TIMES TWO!!!!

Very disappointed. I had a Pedi Paws that I purchased when they first came out and just recently the motor burned out on it. I purchased another and as I said I was very disappointed. The vibration was too much and the buffer mechanism kept sliding up and down. It split my dogs nail after numerous attempts at putting on the nails. This PediPaws may have been refurbished or just a lemon but I had to purchase another brand. I couldn't return it because I used it for the first time after the return date expired.

Not like the Pedi Paws of old. Weak power and ineffective grinding. I was surprised to find local vendors no longer carried this brand and it was difficult to find- their website is juvenile. It appears the company has given up on innovating and improving their product- even making it worse. It no longer works. I'll never buy another one.

Ok so some person saw a Dremel tool and said that is a good idea for a dogs nails might even have used it on their own.
An yes the speed is a lot slower than your Dremel tool for a good reason.
You can hit blood threw the nails so be careful how far you take the nails down too.
The dog won't like the noise either and will be scared of it so make sure u got a realllly good grip on it.
That's if it's never been to a groomer before groomers have been using these for a bit longer than this has been out on the retail market.
Other wise this does a fair job and it's worth the hassle to not pay the 25$ for the groomer.

Looks like they found a way to make this cheaper so now it falls apart. I had an old one that worked OK but after a lot of use it just stopped working so I figured for 5 bucks I'd get a replacement. The first time I tried to use it the arbor that holds the emery band fell off. That's when I found out that the new one had a different method of attaching the emery cloth. Instead of having a replaceable plastic wheel with the emery cloth attached, now there is a permeant rubber wheel and you just replace the emery band. NOT AN IMPROVEMENT BECAUSE NOW THE ARBOR FALLS OFF THE MOTOR! Thank you Amazon for easy returning. I then decided to take the old one apart and after much testing and not able to find anything wrong I finally found that the internal contact point for the + end of the battery was dirty. A little cleaning with an eraser and reassembly and the old one works OK again.

In theory it should work, and my pet doesn't even mind it, however the spinning sander slides up into the end of the yellow cover, and therefore doesn't line up with the hole where the nail is inserted, it starts out lined up and within a second or two slides out of reach, It appears the part that is supposed to hold lthis medal bar with sanding tip on it isn't gripped tightly enough to keep it in place to be useful. I purchased this in 2017 and have tried to use it on and off, with always the same results, so I decided to finally write a review to warn others of this flaw. Perhaps is was just mine? but I suspect not

I bought this when my original seemed to be dying, and I have a lot of the sanding heads, so I thought I could use them interchangeably. Either they changed the way it works or this is a knock off. I didn't open it for a couple of weeks, and by then I had thrown out the paperwork and the box, otherwise I would have tried to send it back. Now I have one nail grinder and a few heads, pretty much that makes it disposable. the original style works very well for me and my dogs.

I purchased this year's ago when it first came out & loved it. I had a miniature dachshund that loved to be pampered & would let me frequently keep her nails ground down & painted. It worked so well. Now I have this little Shih Tzu that thinks she's dying just when I turn the thing on in my hand. It seems to take longer now to grind the nails, but it's probably because I'm wrestling the little princess while I'm doing it. My recommendation would be that if you have the time & your dog is more co-operative, this is awesome. If you need to do it quickly, then you're better off purchasing one that's got a little more power behind it. Also, this works better for smaller nails & with the plastic guard off so you can see what you're doing!

問題はやすりの軸部分の安定化が図られていないこと。通常のやすりは受けの部分がねじ付きのチャックで閉めるようになっているのにモーターに直接さし込むようになっているので安定しない。　やすり部分のセンターもしっかりしておらず叩くように削る、使えないことはないかもしれませんが、非常に不快で使う気がしません。
　もしかしたら　僕が買った製品だけが、不良だったかもとわずかの期待も残しておきます。
