The seat itself is sturdy, and light weight. Their is extra padding, but it's still fairly thin. I have no trouble adjusting the straps or foot rests. I like the handles, but don't see my son holding them too much. I thought they would make the ride more comfortable, but honestly he loves being on the bike and where he's pointing is more important to him than holding on.
This has a recline feature, but it's a minimal recline that now that we've put into the recline position I don't see getting adjusted up ever again because it's really not a huge difference.
My husbands feet don't meet this seat, nor do mine, and it doesn't hang down or touch the back tire.
Really this is a great bike seat, and Peg Perego has made a huge fan out of me!
I purchased this during the lightning deal for only $80 so I considered keeping it just for my husband's bike. It seems well made. The seat pad isn't very cushy but my 2 year old didn't seem uncomfortable on our 5 mile test ride. I am looking at getting the Thule RideAlong. Although it is more expensive, it has the option to purchase an adapter to work with smaller bikes along with an additional bracket to place on another bike so you can easily move the seat between bikes. Hopefully Peg Perego will consider making these options available for their seats at some point as well.

I found installation on my mountain bike to be pretty simple and easy. It's nice that the tools are provided in the box. There was a slight learning curve on getting onto my bike with the child in the seat; I was very cautious about my foot brushing against her.
All in all, this is a nice child bicycle seat with many options.
The entire thing mounts with a clamp like mechanism that goes on the seat tube. It has rails that go back and up over the tire. That entire portion stays on the bike, and the seat itself clips into that. The seat is pretty large, can hold children up to 30 or so pounds. Has hand holds for the child, straps to keep their feet from going in the spokes (keep in mind an older child will either hate these or be able to get out of them). Has a good restraint and not much padding, but enough to be comfortable. Good solution for a bike seat, and offers a passable solution when you don't want it on.
