Top Customer Reviews
- All the main features work really well: it's easy to fold, stands on its own when folded, the seat height adjustment is smooth and sturdy, the tray is easy to maneuver with one hand, as is the recline feature
- The highest seat height position is considerably higher than other chairs - I literally sat this side-by-side with the OXO and this seat was a good 6 inches higher, which to me was a big. I wanted my son to feel like he's in the mix and part of the action when he's in the chair and i'm doing stuff around the kitchen, not way down below eye-level
- My kid feels very secure in the seat. I have a little mover and I was concerned that if I got a chair that wan't sturdy enough he would be able to either wiggle out of the harness or tip it over. I sat him in the nano folding chair and it felt very flimsy, and I also put him in the stokke with the infant seat harness and it just didn't seem like it would be able to contain him (that and it was impossible to get him in and out of).
- The adjustable tray is great - I didn't realize how important this was until I sat him in the mamas & papas pixi chair.Read more ›
I am not sure if there was an upgrade made between those reviews & the current chair they sell, but mine (manufactured date October 2014) DOES allow for me to keep the wheels in the unlocked position. I pushed both buttons down & can slide the button into a position that goes from reading STOP in red letters, to GO in green letters & it's staying unlocked in that position for me to move the chair freely without needing to unlock them again.
I agonized over which high chair to purchase for our first child. I remember the babysitting days of struggling with
ginormous high chairs that pinched baby's fingers and legs, got gross baby food stains on the cloth seats and took up 10 ft
in the kitchen. I determined it would be wood or something else easy to clean. We live in an apartment so a small footprint is
essential to me. I didn't want something obnoxiously baby-ish with circus animals or Pooh Bear (sorry, people). I wanted something
sleek that would fit with our decor and not stick out like a sore thumb in our small open-concept kitchen-living-dining. Also,
the chair needed to be quality, well-made, and solid.
Check-check-check. Peg Perego Siesta is all of that good stuff.
The minor annoying things: The doggone tray does not stay in place when stored if you have to fold up the high chair.
Ours is always falling off the way-too-small tabs on the back legs. It is stupid how irritating that can be. If we did not fold
up the high chair to get it out of the way we wouldn't care about this.
The "one-handed" tray situation is not really one-handed. I have to really pull hard and brace my foot against the chair
so that I'm not pulling it with me. Maybe I'm doing something wrong and there's a finesse to it. (yes, I squeeze the lever)
The strangely alluring bonus things:
It's nice that the chair lays back. When you have to give medicine to a squirmy baby it is very nice to have them buckled in
and laying back.
The wheels. I really like the wheels. I know there are complaints, but I keep them in "go" position and we have fun
during dinner with being able to wheel in closer, or push the chair away. It swivels fine.Read more ›
I originally wanted the Boon Flair but after my friend bought it and I saw it was just a nice looking version of a regular high chair, it was obvious that the Siesta was 10 times better. Thanks Peg Perego for creating the perfect chair!
To answer a previous questions, the foot rest does not have different length settings. It does go back enough to be out of the way for taller children though. They would have their feet dangling down. The measurement from the seat to the foot rest is approximately 6 inches.
We have now been using this highchair for feeding for over 2 months. We still love it. Our daughter looks comfy in it at 6 months. We also use it for an 18 months old that also seems to like it quite a lot. The moving around is getting a little more annoying now that we us it more. I wish all four wheels would move 360 instead of only two. It is really like rolling a BBQ around (that's what my brother in law said), you get us to it.

I thought it'd be much more secure, meaning it states that it reclines for newborns, yet the straps are VERY loose even for my larger in size 4-month old. Read morePublished 4 days ago by GR
This high chair was a disappointment. The arm rests are pulled outward by the U shaped frame making them not line up with the tray. Read morePublished 5 days ago by Randoozle

The tray is very difficult to insert and remove. I returned the first one thinking it must be defective, but the 2nd high chair is just as difficult. Read morePublished 1 month ago by John
