I was able to find the problem and fix it.
Called Pelpro and they helped me out. Called Menards extended warranty company and they gave me a refund.
Since the stove is out of warranty, I was able to configure a set back thermostat for it.
I am happier now with the pellet stove since it has a set back thermostat on it.
I purchased a Pelpro pellet stove from Menards.
The Pellet stove worked OK for 1 heating season, then the heat controller failed.
The pellet stove comes with a 1 year warranty, and the unit failed one week after the warranty ended.
I purchased a 2 year warranty when I purchased the pellet stove since all the bad things I read about it.
I contacted Pelpro, and have not received a reply to my email, not surprised, It took half a week for them to reply with this same problem a month after I purchased it.
I am still waiting to hear from the company that handles the extended warranty.
I had a summers heat stove that I bought last year,so disappointed they said it was thermostatly controlled ok couldnt prove it by me all it seemed to do was keep feeding pellets faster it went through 10 bags of pellets with an average outside temp of 40 degrees in 7 days, the pelpro went through 3. That alone being about a $45.00 savings in just a week and the winter is just starting. Great Job Pelpro
