This lovely bouquet of short stories is no exception. Sweet, romantic, passionate and exciting plots. I especially loved the first Intermezzo and the dark one but they all was lovely and well worth the effort.
I rarely give a short story 5 stars but here I had no doubt.
Heartily recommend this book.
The short stories include "Such Differing Reports", "A Succession of Rain", "Reason's Rule" (an excerpt from The Rule of Reason also Impulse and Initiative), "The Most Natural Thing", and "Intermezzo".
In these short stories Reynolds asks the questions; What if Darcy told Bingley about his mistake of Jane's feelings and then later is almost too ashamed to show up to the wedding?, What if Darcy and Elizabeth were already engaged before Lydia ran of with Wickham?, What if Elizabeth took heed of Charlotte's warning that Darcy was in love with her and then she receives the most loveliest love letter expressing his true feelings?, What if Mr. Bennet dies leaving the girls homeless after Mr. Collins moves in, and Elizabeth throws herself at Mr. Darcy seeking protection for her family? and finally What if weather prevents Darcy and Elizabeth from meeting privately and Darcy must take initiative to secure her?
