I was honestly a bit shocked after reading the ending that he still chose to cling to his faith in our current American capitalist economic system, which in my opinion simply isn’t functioning properly anymore, and he is in complete denial of this, much like Governor Jerry Brown and most people over 40.
Back when my grandfathers and great uncles owned extremely successful companies there was a code of ethics where business owners paid and treated their employees decently, and unfortunately that code of conduct seems to have died with them. It is almost impossible to run an ethical company and succeed when everyone around you is trying to screw you over and undermine what you are doing, and that is basically the state of business these days. So in my opinion, this book simply reeks of naïveté.

I really believe that more managers, people in power of businesses or really just employees need to have a look at this and incorporate these kind of ethics into their business on a professional level, but also a personal one as well.
Very interesting perspective of a cycle businesses tend to go through.
Dale is a great business mentor. I actually ordered 2 of them to give one to my business friend.
Couldn't put it down so I highly recommend it.
