Linking Past Machine to Presdent

When I got this book, I thought it might be just another version of the "Hillary's America" movie--on the dark history of the Democratic party. Some of it was, regarding the party's racist past (arguably present). But there is something to be learned from this short but interesting book. It's above all about the corrupt party machine that began when Aaron Burr started Tammany Hall, and continues today through a federal welfare state and cronyism. In this the author does a nice job in linking past and present.

A Noble Polemic

Michael Walsh is a master humorist. His Rules for Radical Conservatives was one of the best books of 2010, and I always enjoy anything he writes under the nom de plume David Kahane. Kahane is an imaginary liberal who provides advice on tactics for conservatives as he believes we are unworthy adversaries who are a waste of his Hollywood time. Walsh, is really really funny, but not here in The People vs. The Democratic Party. This is serious. It is a "heartfelt j'accuse" against the louts and entitlement freaks who are currently destroying our nation. As with most Encounter Broadsides, my only lament is that this publication is too brief. The topic deserves more than 45 pages, but what Walsh does provide in this essay is outstanding. It's a historical survey on the diabolical nature of the Aliskyite party, and also a polemic that describes why we have to fight the left if we wish to save the country. Despite being short, this work is absolutely worth your time.

Covers Democrats from Arron Burr to ObamaFrom the inception or the Republic, the Democratic in 45 pages.But, to quote: "From the inception of the republic, the Democratic Party has been a public enemy--an organization antithetical to our nations traditions traditions, civic virtues, and moral values" and proceeds to tell why using historical incidents as proof. Interesting and not boring.

It is a shame that our union run schools teach their revisionist history. Our real history is vibrant and needs no changing, but the left wingnuts won't have any of that! If you want your kids to have any kind of a good education....they will have to go to a private or charter school. Remember that next time you vote!

VERY Short Book - Be Aware - Only 48 Pages

I bought this as a gift and I have not read it so can't comment on the writing, but it is a VERY short. You'll find it has only 48 pages if you scroll down to the detail. That may not be a problem. It may be the best 48 pages every written. You'll have to read the reviews of people who actually read the book to help you decide how it stacks up as a piece of non-fiction. But even though it's inexpensive the size of it was a surprise.

I'm giving it 4 stars because it doesn't seem fair to lower the average rating when I haven't read it, and (again) it could be a fabulous 48 pages. Really only writing this review so that you are not similarly surprised by its size.
