He is the founder of Del Norte Studio based in Wichita, Kansas. It is a design studio with ceramic as the primary material focus. The story of Pepito, a shy and uncertain young boy whose best friend is a doll, can teach the young reader many lessons, especially tolerance as well as understanding individual differences and preferences. The illustrations are beautiful and the bilingual text exposes the reader to a second language they can learn as they enjoy this engaging story.
