#ThePepperEffect is unique in that Mr. Gaillard draws upon specific instances in the life and times of John, Paul, George, and Ringo and their producer George Martin to derive lessons to be learned in the mastery of educational leadership and teaching. His chapters, like records, have a “side 1” and “side 2” and he allows reflection through his “Interludes” spaced appropriately throughout the book.
As the Beatles developed they demonstrated risk-taking, collaboration, creativity, innovation, comradeship, communication, and critical thinking all easily adaptable to the tenets of the schoolhouse to which Mr. Gaillard lovingly refers.
This book is a must-read for anyone interested in education but for those who crave written masterpieces that combine relevant historical references with present issues and challenges, #ThePepperEffect will not disappoint.
