I have never baked a real cake in my life, no lie, no exaggeration. I have only made box cakes with store bought frosting. One time I did make brownies from scratch, but as you will all attest, that is not a cake. Thanks to Governor Newsom's never-ending California pandemic shut down, me and the kids are starting new hobbies on a monthly basis. So far we've made tortillas from scratch, pasta with Kitchen Aid Mixer attachment (amazing), done every puzzle in town, attempted to learn to sew, we Stand Up Paddle board, watched every Disney movie and YouTube "life hack" video ever made, and have turned using a hot glue gun into an Olympic Sport. January's hobby is making real cakes and people.. thanks to this book we made REAL CAKES. Look at our photos and enough said. We.made.those.cakes. Review over! P.S. get this cookbook
