I enjoyed this story. It was a cute story of two people who found love unexpectedly. The story moved quickly...it was fun...the love scenes were smokin'...and then outta nowhere is the abrupt ending of the story. There wssno closure. Thus, I'm giving 3.5 stars. I have to have solid closure if there's no sequel forthcoming.

This book made me want to move to Hawaii. The scenery, culture and experiences are described very well. The story is fun and full of passion. Elizabeth and Max can not keep their hands off each other. This is an affair that turns into something more, but we did not get to know the main characters very well since they did not have much of a courtship. That said, if you want to read a story full of steamy sessions, this would be the book for you. On a side note, there are some formatting issues that need attention, but they do not affect the fun storyline.

Great Short read with lots of steamy scenes, well developed characters and of course a HEA. Max and Elizabeth were awesome and I especially liked reading some more of Haven and Eric which are the h/h from Two Step Temptation.

Elizabeth, one of the bridesmaids in a good friend's wedding, has just arrived in Hawaii with her friends for a girls week out. Max Sullivan, their tour guide, turns out to be an off-track Hawaiian history teacher with a hot body, a great personality, and an instant attraction to Elizabeth. Their relationship is fast and fun, and though the sex comes before the relationship, the two do build a friendship and a desire to get to know more about each other.

Elizabeth, who is usually a workaholic, is encouraged by her friends to let loose while in Hawaii and have a fling. She seems to really be on a start to finding her true self as a result of her involvement with Max, but they know that their time is only temporary. There's some conflict when Elizabeth is called home on work-related business, but she and Max are able to continue their relationship.

******POSSIBLE SPOILERS******Unfortunately, the book does not have a clearly defined happily ever after. Instead, there is a suggestion that Elizabeth and Max are going to try to work on building a relationship as they get to know each other beyond the bedroom. While I generally don't like open-ended endings, I don't think this one is too bad. If I didn't want to read the other books in the series, I could assume the HEA easily enough. But the book was good enough that I'm planning to read the others in the series.

*****END SPOILERS*****For fans who've read other books by Emma Jay (Eye of the Beholder, An Erotic Romance, At the Cowboy's Mercy, an Erotic Contemporary Western Romance), this book isn't quite as hot, but it's still pretty dang sexy. And for those who haven't read those books, I can only say they are well worth the time and effort.

Thanks to the author for giving this ebook on Amazon! Though it doesn't have stellar ratings on goodreads, I didn't mind them. I read the description and I knew what to expect, given that it's not a full length novel.

I've been reading and reviewing stories of the same genre so I know what to expect, and I got it : compressed storyline with the hero and heroine having an instant chemistry, hot frequent sex when they decide to act on it, and the getting to know each other part where they spend quality time together... And followed by hot sex of course, which I happened to appreciate.

Elizabeth and Max matched well because they complemented each other. She's a workaholic and he's laid back, he's the calm to her storm, if that could be an analogy... Anyway hope whoever's reading this gets the drift.

I liked the location of the story cause it really set the mood for fun and relaxation, and again, it gave the heroine an excuse to up the attraction by wearing a bikini. I liked the moral of the story about living life and not just existing.

Short sexy story! Elizabeth met her match with Max! They had chemistry as soon as they met. Lots of steamy sex they couldn't keep their hands off each other! They complemented/balanced one another well: Max was easy going and laid back; Elizabeth was structured, business oriented and detailed. Nice steamy scenes betwee the two!!

These short novellas have a hard time compacting a full love story into limited pages, but the author does a decent job here, rushing the assumed ending rather than cheating the reader on the meeting and falling in love scenes, which are my favorite parts. As a freebie, a great deal, and for a lazy afternoon read, nicely written. Liked both the H and the h and believed they truly fell for each other.

I guess the begging was okay. Its the end that sucked! Her pain in the butt father just lets her leave for a year or two? No real reason given. She never really got a real backbone and stood up for herself. It was rushed and wasn't well thought out.
