Elizabeth, who is usually a workaholic, is encouraged by her friends to let loose while in Hawaii and have a fling. She seems to really be on a start to finding her true self as a result of her involvement with Max, but they know that their time is only temporary. There's some conflict when Elizabeth is called home on work-related business, but she and Max are able to continue their relationship.
******POSSIBLE SPOILERS******Unfortunately, the book does not have a clearly defined happily ever after. Instead, there is a suggestion that Elizabeth and Max are going to try to work on building a relationship as they get to know each other beyond the bedroom. While I generally don't like open-ended endings, I don't think this one is too bad. If I didn't want to read the other books in the series, I could assume the HEA easily enough. But the book was good enough that I'm planning to read the others in the series.
*****END SPOILERS*****For fans who've read other books by Emma Jay (Eye of the Beholder, An Erotic Romance, At the Cowboy's Mercy, an Erotic Contemporary Western Romance), this book isn't quite as hot, but it's still pretty dang sexy. And for those who haven't read those books, I can only say they are well worth the time and effort.
I've been reading and reviewing stories of the same genre so I know what to expect, and I got it : compressed storyline with the hero and heroine having an instant chemistry, hot frequent sex when they decide to act on it, and the getting to know each other part where they spend quality time together... And followed by hot sex of course, which I happened to appreciate.
Elizabeth and Max matched well because they complemented each other. She's a workaholic and he's laid back, he's the calm to her storm, if that could be an analogy... Anyway hope whoever's reading this gets the drift.
I liked the location of the story cause it really set the mood for fun and relaxation, and again, it gave the heroine an excuse to up the attraction by wearing a bikini. I liked the moral of the story about living life and not just existing.

Good short read. A few inconstancies in story. Who is Trinity? I guess it is a modern romance for real people. Only one plot line readers don't needPublished on November 13, 2013 by Amazon Customer
What a great story. The no strings relationship that became more. Sometimes love just happens and you have to let it be. Read morePublished on November 2, 2013 by Cocktails and Books
Good read. Romantic story. The words being broken up by dashes throughout the book was puzzling. Grammatical/spelling errors throughout the bookPublished on August 13, 2013 by Amazon Customer
I really enjoyed this book. It was fun with some pretty steamy love scenes. The only thing i didn't like was the ending. It seemed very abrupt.Published on March 5, 2013 by Megan
The idea of the story was ok but the language and the description of the physical interaction was to coarse.Published on February 27, 2013 by Nini
