If this film had leaned more into the black comedy side I would have enjoyed it; but I don't really enjoy the fusion of camp horror and torture porn. The scenarios for these stories are rather tedious: the vingettes primarily consist of people being captive, waiting for something bad (an uninteresting) to happen to them, there's a lot of reference to sexual violence against women, a few gore sequences, and moment or two of enjoyable camp acting (not to be confused with bad acting, because there's a lot of that) -- admittedly the banter between a torturer and a longstanding captive, was briefly amusing... but not worth sitting through this movie for.

Very intense and suspenseful. Not your usual slash'em up film... this is a very cerebral story line following three generations of interlocking tragedies. Parts of this film will linger long after you watch it. A real keeper.

I'm full of regret at having spent the time to watch this movie. Unfortunately however, once I committed I had to see it through to the end. Not glad I did...the acting is overdone and simply bad, the story line is not engaging, and the audio is like a home movie. I'm not quite sure how the reviews are generally so positive, unless those posting are all related in some way to the actors or crew. Save your money.

Low budget with a stupid realtor story to tie it all together...Still, the multiple segments each have moments. The family hiding in the basement during a storm is, well, passable...and completely predictable, but a wild shrew mother chews scenery well. But, the neighbor serving dinner to the family next door kicks the brutality up a notch. When you watch that segment just remember two things- Always return borrowed tools aaaaaannnnnnnnd children rarely get butchered on screen. Rarely.

It's OK for a cheap thrill on a boring noght.

I just watched The Perfect House as it is now on Fios on Demand..
I really enjoyed it. For having a small budget the lighting,Music and effects were very well done and there were a few actors that really stood out such as Jonathan Tiersten as 'John Dosey' one of the Psychotic house owners who gets off on torturing people every Thursday with an audience present in the form of a woman that he has had captive for five years and by the looks of her teeth he doesn't provide a dental plan..

Felissa Rose who in the credits is listed only as 'Mother', both of whom were in the highly successful cult classic "Sleepaway Camp" and The most recent "Return To Sleepaway Camp".Dustin Stevens as 'The Stranger' was also a stand out..This was a very entertaining and gory tale of a House with a History and we are treated to three different tales of horror and gore that took place inside the house.

I have been waiting forever to see this because it has been sold out on Amazon for quite some time now. This could have very easily been overly cheesy and ineffective but it was treated in such a way that it all came together beautifully.I was impressed."CHIC-KEN" starring Tiersten is my favorite of the trilogy the others being "DINNER GUEST" and "The Storm"...

I have never written a review before, but I felt compelled to tell everyone...
That was terrible!
Complete waste of time.
I rented based on the reviews, but they were NOT accurate.

Bad - beyond bad. I never leave reviews, but since it was these reviews on which I based my rental, I had to "type" out.
Don't believe the "type" or the hype -

I love horror movies, so when I saw the preview for this movie I knew I had to watch it. A big mistake! The beginning was okay but the whole plot was everywhere and didn't seem to add up. There are bloody scenes but it just seems so boring. Please don't spend your 3.99 on this crap of a movie. If you are asking yourself, is it really bad? YES!
