I guess it's safe to say now that Oren Tennings is my favourite forbidden men. (Mason's not happy but what can I say? It was 10 out of 10!!... Perfect! It was spot on...West Virginia kind of perfect!!
I love ten since pick's book and love him more when I got to know him better at Quinn's book and now that he finally took the spotlight and star on his own book... He is just that., perfect Ten!
Where do I start?
I love ten and his colourful jokes. Love Caroline and her strong personality.
Their friendship, how it makes you want to be in the gang and how love can change a person, change a future and gives hope just when you think life can't get any better. It's truly comes down to a nice love story, laughter and romance.
I love the writing, and been following this series since mason and they all hooked me in, regardless the storyline.
Sure there's little things that make you rolled your eyes once in a while but nothing that makes you want to drop the story for a later time because it just hooked you in. It's the mind of story that make you wonder, make you smile, laugh out loud, sit closer to the edge of your bed and hold on to your kindle tighter with anticipation on what's going to happen next, the pain you feel when you hero or heroine hurting.. And the hangover and satisfaction you get after it's all come to a completion.
For all those blissful feeling.. Ten surely satisfied you.
Yep.. 10 out of 10.
I finished this book cover to cover pretty quickly. I didn't hate it but I didn't necessarily love it either. Both the hero Oren/Ten and the heroine Caroline have things in their past that have obviously shaped who and what they are today. Which when I read, I thoroughly enjoy a good back story. I like to see how two characters have come to be who and what they are today. As their love story progressed, their biggest obstacle was the approval of her older brother / his best friend. Given the length of this book 427 pages, the biggest conflict was approval from big brother began to feel rather tired; especially when ALL of their closest friends and family knew they were dating and he was the only kept in the dark.
There were some great love scenes through out the book. As well as some laugh out loud moments especially with the heroine's two younger brothers. So with that in mind I gave this book three stars. Will be reading the rest of series - No most likely not. Would I read something else by this other - well maybe not sure
