These books are so well written and so entertaining! I actually find myself crying at certain points in the box which is highly unusual for me to be so engaged!
You can't help but fall in love with Danyael and hope that him and Zara well finally believe in their love and be together with their daughter!
This Has so many ups and downs back-and-forth's heart wrenching love story you've got to read it!
Danyael eventually figures out what was going on and that the people he thought were his new friends were using him, but seems resigned to comply with the general’s demand that he take over the training of half-animal super soldiers. Of course, it turns out that when the mutant terrorist group attacks only Danyael and the super soldiers can stop them. In order to achieve victory, Danyael must do what he fears most and unleash his full power. During the course of the battle an old friend sacrifices herself to save Danyael's life.
Danyael is reunited with Zara, whom he still loves, but she remains unwilling or unable to fully love him. He is also reunited with Galahad, who is insanely jealous that Zara, despite herself, loves Danyael instead of him. Unfortunately, Lucien still hates Danyael which saddens Danyael greatly. The book ends on a positive note with Danyael’s brother making contact and saying that he would like to have a relationship.
I absolutely loved this series and I read each book in one night. The next book isn’t really in the series, as it is a standalone young adult novel, but I love these characters so much I’m going to buy and read it tomorrow. I hope that the author decides to continue the story and if she does, I’ll be the first to buy the book.
The writing itself isn't bad. I made it through all three books, but in spite of my tenacity I struggled so much with the last bit that I wanted to throw my kindle across the room - and I LOVE MY KINDLE.
I haven't been so frustrated since I read Twilight. Unhealthy people in VERY unhealthy relationships that include degrading physical and verbal abuse. The characters lash out in illogical ways to the people that they profess to love. It was gross.
Blah. Save yourself, don't buy it.
