Heckman is the Henry Schultz Distinguished Service Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago, and co-winner of the 2000 Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel. Carolyn J. Heinrich is the director of the La Follette School of Public Affairs, professor of public affairs and affiliated professor of economics, and a Regina Loughlin Scholar at the University of Wisconsin Madison. Pascal Courty is a research fellow of the Centre for Economic Policy Research. Gerald Marschke is associate professor of economics at the University at Albany, SUNY. Jeffrey Smith is professor of economics at the University of Michigan.
