When this jack arrived, the box it came in was tapped together, and the jack handle was missing, but I called the Wilmar Corp., and they sent me the handle immediately. So far, this jack holds up to its claims. Very strong for being so small and short, which makes it great for small area applications. Just what I was looking for.

If you read what little instructions are posted on the side of the jack and on the box, you may be fine with this.

I accidentally over-loostened the lowering nipple and spilled fluid out the bottom. I dutifully cleaned it up, and purchased more fluid. The problem is that there are no clear steps on refilling.

Looking on the web, instructions generally said to pump the jack all the way up, fill in the fill hole until it's level, then let it back down, and repeat.

Now, it extends up 1" because there's air trapped in the shaft, and I'll be darned if I can't figure out how to 'burp' it. Wilmar's webisite is a media page (pretty without content) but some simple instructions in a pamphlet would be very helpful.

It's a cheap, bottle jack. You get what you pay for.

I ordered two of these for a big job. When I received them the boxes were really beat up, the carry handles were bent beyond repair and one of the boxes had a hole in it where the jack handle had slipped out and disappeared. The jack itself looks like it will work ok, paint is peeled off in many places. All in all, poor quality and horrible packaging.

Arrived in a good Amazon box but the internal box was mangled and taped up :( This thing had to have been a return and had paint chips galore and I was not real impressed with the hydraulic mechanism, it felt sloppy. I bought this to take on a trip and wanted something that was taller than normal, this advertised at 18.5 but when I checked it out it only went to 17.25 (and yes I screwed the piston up all the way. The pic (and box) also showed a cross-hair type of top seat, the one that arrived was more like boiler-plate which may not fit under an axel well, and may not work at all unless your axel has a flat spot. Price is good, but the quality just isn't there.

This jack doesn't work at all. You pump it up to lift something, and it quickly releases. Yes, I made sure that the valve was closed. Don't waste your money. Worst of all, when I finally used it, it was out of the return period.

Jack works well jacking things up. Issues I had were - 1. it takes ALOT of pumps to get the jack to max height. 2. The jack doesn't retract all the way when you release it so it gets stuck between the ground and whatever you're jacking up. Had to knock it over with some force just to get it out.

Its short to fit under small trailers and lifts a lot of weight. We are very happy with it. Thanks
