Bad quality paper. looks like printed on just a thick sheet of paper and cut it out, and charged 6 times as much money as a good "real" card company does. Have you ever gotten cards from a casino, or played with Bicycle cards. Great. Their coated with something, they dont look and feel cheap and thin. You fell like if something spilt, of if the cards got wet somehow- they coupld just be wiped off and be fine...not these cards. If they get wet your done. A cute novelty..nice idea, but a trash product. Hopefully you memorize the Periodic table of elements before these paper paper cards die on you. A collector item only. Not meant to actually be used, not durable at all. Junk. Do not buy..make your own cards, they will compare, and you will probably memorize a little just by writing it down.

It’s very informative. A perfect gift for your loved ones. The paper is glossy which is nice but lacks thickness as it’s soft for my liking. The size is a bit smaller than the regular cards but perfect for my hand grasp (I am petite). I added a photo of a different card size for comparison.

Chemistry game with grandkids, ignore the playing card (hearts, diamonds, ...) but pay attention to the element information, so you can only play a element that would combine with the other players card (left vs right side of periodic table), unless you can explain how you would force the combination (organic chemistry rules).

My wife and I already feel a little smarter about chemistry just by reading the legend card and thumbing through the deck. The color-coding of the cards by series (i.e. alkali metals) is a great way to reinforce that association. These cards would be great for home-schooling too. (Same as Periodic Table Playing Cards )
