Just when Sunny thinks her love-life is on the right track (Detective Stone has moved in with her), Jo and Cole's wedding day has come and Sunny's parents show up making it next to impossible for Sunny to do anything right. Only when her mother becomes the prime suspect in a wedding day murder, Sunny must to everything right so her mother doesn't go to jail. Everyone jumps in to help, and Ms. Townsend does such a fantastic job placing clues and red herrings and combined with all the twists and turns, you're never quite sure who's behind the murder.
I've loved this series from Book 1, but this story has to be the best one yet! I only wish I had fortune telling powers so I could predict what was in store for Mitch and Sunny next!!
This is the fourth book in the series Sunny Meadows Mystery but the first book that I have read in the series. While it does stand alone, I know I missed a lot of the characters relationships in the past. I would have liked to read the other books first in the series.
I had no clue who the murder was and why. Plenty of suspects.
The one character I would of really liked to know more about there history is Morty the cat. He really has a bad reputation. I can tell he must have done a lot to some of the characters.
Sunny is the main character. She reads palms, is physic, helps the police. Her parents don't believe in her. Neither does her boyfriend Detective Mitch Stone. She does have some good friends who do.
Sunny gives a reading for entertainment and the next day he is murdered at her best friend's wedding. Sunny's mother is the prime suspect.
I cared about Sunny. I wanted to see her and Detective Grumpy Pants work things out. I really liked the ending. I would read more about Sunny.
The setting was Divinity, New York.
This has plenty of drama, characters, murder, visions and a good dose of humor. It is also a clean read.
I was given this ebook to read and in return I agreed to give a honest review and be part of Perish in the Palm blog tour
