OMG, I love this stuff. I'm not a fan of jerky but I am in the process of modifying my carb loaded diet to a more protein based plan and jerky is a recommended snack, and the Perky Jerky is the brand I was pointed to. The jerky is tender, yet still chewy. Just the perfect amount of chewy. The pieces are smaller than traditional jerky, and some reviews presented that as a downside, but I like the size pieces in the package. For the flavor, I purchased the "Original" since I'm not into all the flavors. It is delicious. It starts with a very slightly sweet taste, common to most jerky, with a bit of black pepper topping it off. As you chew, the pepper flavor increases and there is mild latent heat to the flavor which lasts for a minute or two after you swallow. Only down side is the price, but jerky just isn't a cheap food. So relatively then, I guess the price is ok.

Just good jerky and better than the rest of stuff out there that I can find . Without nitrates I don’t get headaches after eating and has a tasty sweet peppery flavor . Hard not to munch the whole bag in one day . Perfect snack for us carnivores .

Really enjoyed all the flavors of this... I was a bit worried about some negative reviews but I think a good number of folks, especially those who may have been exposed to it less, just don't like the taste of grass fed beef.

Very soft easy to chew very affordable. They have large 14oz but I can’t finish in 3 days time. So stick with smaller size bags. They have other varieties in this brand for jerky but they don’t taste as good as the original beef.

I love this beef jerky (I have only tried the teriyaki beef). Most of the time when I get it it is moist and tender. There has been a rare occasion that it is dry. Even at the driest it is still better than any other beef jerky.

I really like the flavor of this jerky! It is just as described, perky. The teriyaki is a little bit spicy but nice. The pieces are a bit too chewy though. My gums are already a little tender so that might also be why. But in general I really do like this jerky. I'm going to try one of the other flavors.
