What are Perler Beads
They’re small plastic beads with a hollow center. They come in a variety of colors and styles, including glitter, glow-in-the-dark and striped. Arrange them in a pattern to create your own design, using your pegboard. Then iron with a piece of ironing paper to fuse beads together.

I recently bought a pegboard set not realizing that it doesn't come with any perler beads so I was pretty upset about that. However finding this very large set of Perler Beads was really a blessing. It's very affordable and it comes with so many different beads all four of our kids can have a blast making some of these designs. The only thing I don't like about this is the fact that none of the beads are separated so if you do want to use a bunch of the same color you're going to have to dig through the box. But that being said I'm not the one going to be using them so the kids could just have at it. This comes with so many different colored beads you can make a tons of different things and I love the fact that it comes in a reusable sealed container that even has a lid on it so you can carry it around. Once they use a good majority of these beads I'll probably just throw the peg boards in the same container so this set can be all contained in one sealed container. This comes with a little bit of ironing paper as well as some instructions which is really nice because I didn't know exactly how long you're supposed to iron at for. This mixed was some Peg boards and you'll have your kids along and entertaining fun activity.

First time ever doing perler bead projects. Used beads to make cake toppers for my kid’s birthday. Great color selection and good value. I recommend that before you start your project, you go to the dollar store and pick up a roll of parchment paper and a roll of painter’s masking tape. Once you have finished putting your beads how you want them, go over them with the masking tape overlapping sections as you go. Make sure to burnish the tape with the back of a spoon. This will allow you to lift your creation off of the board. It will save your boards.
