Permatex dielectric tune-up grease protects electrical connections and wiring from salt, dirt and corrosion. Required for modern high energy ignition systems, dialectric grease extends the life of bulb sockets and prevents voltage leaks around any electrical connection. My local Farm store was sold out of this exact product so I added this to my next Amazon order. I have worked in several Cable TV, electronic and Electrical fields in my career. I first saw this used in the mid '80s as a field tech for a cable TV co. They used to use it on all outdoor fittings to stop moisture integration and corrosion. I then saw it used on the ends of spark plug wires. I started using it on every outdoor exposed connector used on my motorcycle's, cars and trucks etc. including on battery connectors. I even use it on charging ports of EV's now to prevent wear on the ports and connecters. I go through a lot of it and was happy to find it here when needed.

I have used this for years. Keeps electrical connections from sticking together. Keeps plastic flexible. Does not conduct electricity. Used on light bulb treads. Put some on a Q Tip and coat the inside of spark plug boots so they will come off easier next time.

Bulbs in damp areas that used to fail frequently no longer do. Seals the moisture out of the contacts. Do have to say that although the LP tank sensor people recommend this I no longer use it as they function fine without it and less dust accumulates on the sensors when left dry.
