ABOUT THE PERFORMERS -
Chor Leoni Men's Choir
Quality a cappella singing, eclectic repertoire, imaginative programming, and a willingness to "try anything once" have characterised Chor Leoni's meteoric rise to the upper echelons of the Canadian choral world. Chor (Greek for choir) Leoni (Italian for lions) was formed in 1992 by Diane Loomer to provide an opportunity for skilled male singers to gather and sing challenging repertoire. Based in Vancouver, the choir has commissioned, performed and recorded works by Canadian composers, consistently won prizes in the CBC national choral competition, toured across the country, and recorded many national CBC broadcasts.
