I have used Persil laundry detergent for 7 years. After visiting Austria, I was on a mission to get this product in the USA. It is a low suds detergent, thus less damaging to fabrics and washer. It is not heavily scented thus people with sensitive skin, there is no irritation. So even though it appears to be more expensive than other brands found locally, it actually is an overall cost benefit as my clothes look like new after years of laundering. It gets out stains without a prewash or chemicals sprayed on. It works wonderfully at any water temperature. I cannot live without this product.

We were introduced to Persil when we purchased our Bosch front load W/D. They are high efficiency and our technician instructed us to use 1 Tablespoon of detergent. Clothes come out clean, bright, and odor free. Persil is the only product they recommend as there is absolutely no buildup or residue outside the drum to create odors or problems with over-sudsing. It may seem expensive, but at 1 Tbl per load a regular 1/4 cup per load/120 load case gives us 480 washes! To be clear, 1 Tablespoon per load is what was recommended for our front load, high-efficiency machine. Regular top load machines would still need the 1/4 cup.

I tried this product and won't go back to your standard grocery store product. The detergent may seem expensive but it has absolutely no fillers and a box will go a long way. I love the scent and I don't have to use any other products to get whites white and my clothes seem to be less affected by this product.

And it is TRUE - you can get white whites with cold water!

Simply one of the best products I've used in years. Thank you Amazon for introducing me to Persil.

Great laundry detergent. I have been using this product with my Miele washers for 13years and my clothes always come out clean. This detergent stands up to the 190F temperature washes that make the Miele washer my choice for cotton kitchen towels and sheets. No scent left behind if you use the extra rinse option. If you don't use the extra rinse option, it leaves a slightly floral scent behind that dissipates quickly.

Only problem is that I didn't read the product information more closely during this particular purchase in that I usually buy the UNSCENTED PEARLS, not the SCENTED POWDER. The cleaning results are same, just don't need the cakiness of the powered and prefer unscented.
