Comparable to Blazblue and Guilty Gear, but I would actually put those games above this one. I feel BB and GG are deeper and more rewarding. Regardless, it's very fun and I love the Persona universe. I eagerly await the sequel to this!
But for the people who like more fighting, there is a arcade mode for normal fighting game fun! There is also a training mode for newcomers to the genre, (Like me.) also there are online mode, but sadly I never played it. But I heard that the lag hardly exists and is good.
The characters are very good and nice to see/ hear with all different personas. (See what I did there? ^^) and the P3 characters have changed a lot! (Minus 1, but she's a robot, so...)
...And I'm just really bad at making reviews so THEND...
-Replay Ability is top notch.
-Characters are fun and quirky as their normal selves in their respective games.
-Challenge Mode allows beginners to pick up on Advanced combos to really up their game.
-Great fun with friends!
-Online Playability is fun, for the most part.
-Easy for people new to the genre.
-Akihiko's Sexiness level is over 9,000
-Auto-Combo system is LAAAAAAAAAME. If you play online with low levels, expect this a lot.
-Lack of BGM makes this annoying to play over and over.
-Made me hate the song "Reach out to the Truth" I've heard that thing so many times now I want to blow my brains out.
-Online Community has died out since release.
-Replay Ability begins to dip around the month marker of this game if you aren't actively online
-Becomes less fun if playing Solo.
-To play characters effectively requires a lot of challenge-Mode Practice.
-Shadow Characters limited to Labrys (Costummmmme T~T)
Personally I've enjoyed the living crap out of this game. Month later I'm playing it still, (Not as much) and its still a blast. I regret not having a bigger BGM choice, but what can you do? Excellent Fighter game.
