I felt so bad for Jessa and even got aggravated at her during times she was dealing with her boyfriend Trent. However the situation she was in with her mother helped give insight to why she felt the obligation she did.
I fell in LOVE with Cole from the beginning! That man is my new book boyfriend. Now if you have issues with an older man and a younger woman this book may put you off but for me it just made it so much better.
If you are a Kristen Ashley, Lani Lynn Vale, Aurora Rose Reynolds or Harper Sloan can then you will devour Harley Faiman's books!
**ARC provided for honest review. However I also purchased because I fully believe in this book and the author deserves her money.***
Cole Bronson is 38 and the offensive coach for the football team that Trent plays on. He was in a relationship with Brittany for a year but broke up but they continue to get together for sex for the past year although it means more to Brittany than it does Cole.
When Jessa approaches Cole about his treatment of Trent they are immediately attracted to one another but with Jessa still dating Trent she is hands off. Yet Jessa found safety in Cole and soon she found herself with him.
But when it comes down to it will Jessa have the courage to leave Trent for Cole? When Cole learns about what Trent is into will he have the courage to stand up the university to fight for what is right?
So I enjoyed the book but I did find parts of it kind of over the top which took away a little for me personally.
I liked Jessa and understood her dilemma with Trent. It was obvious how much she felt like she owed him but I was more and more shocked at what she was required to do for him - like his homework. Then when they got to college I was shocked at how Trent treated her and what he wanted her to do with others. Yet she still could not let go of him.
Cole was interesting in that he had never had feelings for someone as deep as he did for Jessa and he was not willing to share her. But when it came down to it he was willing to do whatever it took to show Jessa how much he cared and therefore they were together before she was officially single.
Trent was such a jerk from start to finish and I was shocked at how everything went to his head. I also found it weird with his link to a certain character that appeared towards the end of the book and how he knew how to contact her.
I thought the chemistry between Jessa and Cole was intense but at times it was almost too much with some of their encounters. You'd think a football coach would be more concerned about being caught. Plus I thought some of the comments between Cole and John were not something someone older would say at all.
It was an enjoyable read though and I did enjoy the story.

I have to say, While normally I love all things Hayley Faiman I really struggled with the content from this one.Read more
