I really appreciated the show, and Like the cliff hanger on the end of the Season Finale. I definitely believe the show has potential, and look forward to how they use their talented cast of actors for season 2. I also think this was a brilliant performance from the magnificent late Richard Hatch. I loved him in both versions of Battlestar Galactica, and even more recently in another fan funded film he was in, "The Prelude To Axanar". So this was another pleasant surprise to see him in, and I am definitely going to miss his presence in Season 2 (Unless there is already footage shot before his death.)
Tim Russ was also Brilliant in his 2 episodes, I definitely look forward to seeing more. I think the cast and crew of this show have done an amazing job with the budget they were given, but I also believe there is room to grow for season 2. I only heard about this show this morning, from an Interview Tim Russ gave to "TrekMovie.com", so I didn't have to wait long for it, I was in the process of Formatting an entire RAID Array, so I had a few more hours to kill and fired up the show and was pleasantly surprised. I think the only critique I could give it, is at times it moves slow, and its hard to understand what is being said over their com system, so automatic captions would be helpful there. But so far well done, and I hope to see more of Tim Russ for next Season! Please don't make us wait long!
Also to the people knocking this show because its low budget and has no action. It is Low Budget, and it is low action, some people don't mind that in their entertainment, so just because its not for you, doesn't mean other people won't like it. Its fine to give your reviews and opinion of the show, but realize just because you don't like it, doesn't mean your word is gospel and other people will automatically feel the same. This is a sophisticated low budget show, and its AWESOME because of it, if you can't understand that, then that is fine, you don't need to, move along, there is plenty of entertainment out there for you already.
