"This is an awesome book! Pet Peeves is written in dialogue form and takes readers behind the scenes of a comedy show and the people that come together to make it. Diane Michaels has created a cast of people that it is impossible not to love. The egos, the personalities, their hang-ups, and their relationships are all laid bare with hilarious consequences. Kendra is your typical Brit trying to make it in the US, reserved and unwilling to push herself at first. Austin is delightful and he is brutally frank about his relationship with Bronwyn. There is a stellar cast to this book, and you will love getting to know them and becoming truly invested in the show. This is exactly how I imagined the cast of The Big Bang Theory and the creators of the show interacting and I loved being a fly on the wall. The writer's room and the interaction between them reminded me of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, one of my favorite ever TV programs. This book is awesome. I haven't come across a written version of a mockumentary before, but it worked really well! The characters were all so well formed that I couldn't believe they weren't real people! I especially loved Austen / Peter. Diane Michaels should try working in TV, because I would love to see this as a real show. Highly recommend.

This was a cute and different book to read. It is about a show (a made up show). All set members are interviewed throughout the book. You not only get to know about them as people, but also about the show. I'm now hoping the writer will bring out a book, or maybe a screenplay, so we can read the show for real.

I ADORED this book! So witty, funny, and clever. I was hooked from page 1 and definitely didn't want the story to end. The only problem is now I want to watch the fictitious TV show now so I can fall in love with the characters on the small screen, just as I did in print. Brava, Diane Michaels! More stories like this, please!

If you’re looking for a fun, light read with plenty of tongue-in-cheek humor, this is for you. Some of the characters’ personalities are hilariously stereotypical, while one particular character pulls all the threads together. Enjoy!

This book was an easy, fun read. I was caught up in the characters and could envision myself watching this 'series'. I really enjoyed getting to know the characters and recommend this book.
