Fun Pete the Cat story with pirate cats and treasure - great for nap time
My grandson, who is 3.5 years old, loves Pete the Cat. He also is into pirates at the moment. When I saw this book, I knew he would enjoy it. He loves it!He visits our house every week and, while I read to him often during the visit, one of our favorite times is just before nap when we do some stickers and read a book of his choice. This book combines both activities into one. We read the story and then place two stickers – his choice of whether they go in the book, on his shirt or on the back of his hands. The stickers are well made enough that they stick no matter where he puts them.The story is a cute adventure looking for treasure. There are pirates, treasure, a monster, and some pretty cool music. It's a long enough story to be a good nap time one and looks like it will be a fairly easy reader when he is a bit older.
