My rabbit attempts to nibble on this bed, but due to him missing his bottom teeth, he's unable to actually do any damage to it. He spends most of his time, when inside of his cage, in his basket and absolutely LOVES it! Thankfully, the grass bed is also woven tight, and put together well, but if you have a rabbit who likes to constantly chew, you will eventually have to replace this. It was also bigger than I expected, which was an added bonus, as I was worried it would be too small, and wouldn't offer him any 'wiggle room' to move around or stretch his legs. I was also very pleased by the price of this product, which I received for under $6; a huge bonus in my opinion.
I am absolutely so pleased with this grass pet bed and highly recommend it for anyone with smaller breed rabbits, looking for a cozy area for their rabbit to reside.
The second I set my bunny in this basket he started chomping away on it! He is a chewer so I can tell already that he loves this basket very much. I'm happy it says specifically safe to eat on the packaging because that's what he's been doing already.
It's not the biggest basket in the world but it's big enough. My bunny is able to fully sit in it and turn around in it.
I recommend it to bunnies or small animals that love chewing on things. I bought a basket before that he chewed on but it didn't specify if it was safe to eat so I was always worried about him getting sick from it. It eases my mind to know that this is safe to eat.
