I would normally buy these at my local French food grocer but they stopped carrying it. I am so glad that it is offered here and despite reading some non-stellar reviews about the lack of freshness from this particular seller, I threw caution to the wind and bought it. Moreover, the caramels are still fresh! It even had a best before sticker on the bubble wrap packing so no expired caramels here. I was actually prepared to sample some rock hard and stale caramels but the batch that I received are not old stock and still fresh.

The plastic wrapper did not stick on the caramels & they were soft and the right amount of salty sweetness. Most people do not appreciate the subtle sweetness of these caramels and compare it to American-made salted caramels (which are sickeningly sweet and all you can taste is the sugar overload).

These were okay, not great. The wrappers stick to the candy so be ready to pick them out of your teeth later. I expexcted much better for the price. Won't be buying this again.

I was excited about getting these french caramels, but when it arrived the box was torn and the caramels were old and sticking to the cellophane wrapper. Didn't taste good at all...immediately tossed them in the trash. Will never buy again.
