5 Ways To Take Care of Your Candles

Follow these tips to get the best (and safest!) burn.

1. Trim That Wick: Before lighting, trim the wick to 1/4" using scissors or a wick trimmer for a clean, safe burn and increased candle lifespan.

2. Let It Burn: Allow the wax to melt to the edges of the jar every burn to prevent tunneling - especially important on the first burn!

3. Safety First: Never leave a lit candle unattended, and don't burn for more than 4 hours at a time. To protect the surface below from heat, place your candle on a coaster or tile.

4. Know When to Stop: Don't burn your candle if only 1/4"-1/2" of wax remains. Lighting a candle without enough wax can overheat the jar.

5. Reuse It: Once the candle is finished, clean out the jar! Now you've got a new planter or pencil holder or whatever you'd like.

This is my go-to candle. I've ordered it over and over - from both amazon, and their store. The smell is neutral (sometimes the floral ones are too much for me). I like that it's not too girly, but it makes my space smell great. Also love that it comes in an amber glass jar, so the glow feels warm and homey. I'll order again. :)

Great candle. I smelled this in a shop in Carmel, CA but didn’t want to lug it home on the plane so I ordered it. The only issue is that we live in TX and the heat is horrible- 100+ degrees every day. So unfortunately the candle melted some and the wax spilled out. Should have thought about that before I ordered.

I bought this as a gift for a friend who is anti-toxic candle. This one says no toxins in it and hopefully that is true, bc it smells great. Pricy for sure, but I guess toxins make things cheap... haha

I'd describe this scent as woody with the tiniest hint of citrusy with a sweet finish. The best part about this candle is that it doesn't feel overly perfumed at all. You can be in a room with this burning and not feel nauseous or have a headache come on because it just feels like smelling a leather jacket or an oak tree. I noticed this candle at a friend's house and fell in love, loved it in my home, and would definitely give as a gift.

This is my favorite candle of all time! The smell is amazing— light, slightly fruity but feels like a fresh shower. It makes anywhere I go feel like home. I’m currently quarantined out in my boyfriend’s house in NorCal, and I bought this to remind me of my little apartment in San Francisco! Absolutely love the scent. I upgraded to this larger size after going through the smaller 7.2oz size. PF Candle and Co does not disappoint. Their candles are quality and totally worth every penny. The scent is ~-au natural~ and doesn’t have an artificial lingering. Another favorite of mine from the company is the fall-scented Apple Picking fragrance! Highly recommend this product and will probably be a lifelong consumer :)

This is the most expensive candle I have ever purchased but well worth it. The smell is woodsy/natural smell , don't let that turn you off. This candle smells like an expensive furniture store, its amazing. The best smelling candle I have ever had. The cons of this candle are that it burns quickly and it is expensive, other than that if those two things don't bother you then this is the candle for you.

I think these candles are amazing, they throw a scent along way and last a long time. I like that there are US made product, but they need to work on their packaging. This is the second candle that I received broken. The first was a very small one. I transferred the wax to something else, but these large candles need to be boxed and wrapped in bubble wrap, not just thrown in a larger box. The picture tells all I give them three stars because of their shipping practices.

I bought the candle to give to my daughter in law for Christmas. Got it in good time well wrapped however I noticed a oily scented film on outside of plastic wrapping. I opened it up nothing seemed amiss from the outside except this scented oil coating all over the outside of glass jar containing the candle. I can't give it as a gift now and too much hassle to return but won't order it again.
