I do intense gaming with a Ryzen 5900X and RX 6750 XT. AAA games at max settings w Ray Tracing for hours on end at 1280. I can also render to my heart's content, including Blender and StudioOne projects. I've got 4 Blender projects rendering right now on the computer I am typing this review on, and HWINFO has both the CPU and GPU at 60C.
For fans I have 3 Corsair 120ML Pro and 1 Corsair 140ML pro. The CPU is cooled with a Skythe Fuma 2. Bottom line, temps are never a problem.
As for other features, I like that it is relatively small for an ATX case. The side panel is made of heavy high quality glass that sits in solidly. Cable management it fine. The controls and USB interfaces are fine. Drive space is fine and easy to access from the back or by removing the front panel. The front panel is easy to remove but still sturdy when in place. PSU storage is fine with an easy to remove and clean dust filter on the bottom.
No frills is the path to bang for the buck. The thing that many more expensive cases get wrong is simply restricting air flow. That's all. No magic. This case's mesh front does great at letting the air in.
If I had to search for one nit-picky gripe, there is a weird little white LED light strip thing at the bottom that doesn't line up well and is distracting to the aesthetic, but I just unplugged it and you can't notice it was ever there. But it was a strange design choice.

I used this case to build my friends computer and the air flow in it is good enough for his 1660 TI and Ryzen 5500 while only using a single fan in the back. The front I believe had room for intake fans but upon testing his thermals it wasn't even necessary to add another fan to the front, although I would advise adding a front fan if you plan on running a better GPU than a 1660 TI.
I bought it for airflow, and by gosh, it has nice airflow... as long as you buy a couple intake fans for the front. Thank you Steve from Gamers Nexus, for the tip.
Challenges
To get the nice airflow, they put the HDD cage and the power supply in the basement. My power supply was 160 mm, which gave me about 1 1/2 inches between the end of my PSU and the start of the hard drive cage... it's simply not enough room. Had to remove the HDD cage to insert the PSU... and it didn't go back, mounting tape to the rescue.
Pass thru holes from the basement were not big enough for Corsairs 24 pin sleeved connector cable at its widest point, which necessitated having to pull the PSU again and feed the cable's PSU end in from the front of the case, down to the PSU. Thank goodness for fully modular PSU's.
Oh, the reset button is situated right in front of the front panel usb ports... really bad placement... next time case is opened, am disconnecting the reset button from mobo.
PSU sucks in air from the bottom, and the case "feet" are fairly squat, you will probably need something to set case on to protect it from carpet suffication.
- The case is incredibly compact and minimalist.
- There are no front fans provided (good if you intend fitting 120mm RGB fans)
- The core SSD's mount (2) on the reverse side to the motherboard tray
- The front panel pops off easily
- The top panel provides 2 USB3.0 ports (no 2.0 ports but seriously, what's the point?)
- Overall ergonomics look good
- Decent price
The bad:
- There is zero cooling for the HDD bay and poor airflow; consequently I cannot recommend this case for anyone
wishing to fit a conventional HDD as the drive(s) will most certainly overheat.
- The small size is achieved by sacrificing provisions for an optical drive so be prepared to load software via USB
or an external optical drive (my choice)
- There is no cover for the PCI slots, leaving a rectangular hole above the slots (this appears a deliberate design
choice)
- Very little room behind the power supply for cabling
Some notes:
It may be possible to adequately cool a single HDD by drilling holes above the HDD bay and mounting a 120mm fan that draws air up from the HDD bay. There are no frontal vents and the grill in front of the HDD bay is blocked by a plastic plate. You CAN remove the plate by removing the four screws that hold the plate assembly to the front grill - then cut out the plastic that blocks air flowing through the grill into the HDD bay.
If you really need HDD: Given the small amount of space between the HDD cage and the power supply, you will likely need to reverse the drives so the supply/sata cables come out the front and over the top of the HDD cage.
If you decide to purchase this case, be aware it is cramped and is really only designed to accommodate SSD drives. At a minimum I would modify or remove the HDD bay to allow adequate space for cabling.
The space between the HDD cage and a modular power supply (mine is 750W) is likely inadequate. The case works okay for non-modular supplies where the cable looms come through a single port - you can align the cable port to bypass the HDD cage because it does not take up the full width of the case. For modular supplies the available space (optimistically) is about 1 inch at most - for my Thermaltake supply it was simply too cramped to be practical.
The hassle associated with modifying this case to be useful, plus the cost of (at least) 2 additional fans (1 for the HDD bay modification and 1 in front of the graphic card) makes this a case (pun intended) of false economy. I strongly recommend spend more bucks on a large, better thought-out case design.

Pros:
- Amazing airflow
- Magnetic filters at the top and bottom of the case
- Decent room for cable management
- Pretty quiet
- Looks nice
- Comes preinstalled with ATX mobo standoffs (if you have a different form-facter remember to change them)
Cons:
- Cramped room for power supply, drive bay takes up a lot of space; possibly no chance of getting a non-modular power supply to fit
- No room for 140mm fans to mount outside of the chassis, underneath the front panel. 120mm may fit, but unsure
Review:
Getting my power supply in this case was a huge hassle. Warning to anyone, don't thread your front audio cable through to your mobo until you install your power supply!! What'll end up happening is the cable will wedge between the psu and the case.
I was an idiot and I think I broke the front audio port on my mobo because I couldn't figure out what got the psu stuck at one point.
I removed one of the drive bays and routed some of my psu cables through there. Worked perfectly!
Despite the size restraints and and the problems I faced, this case is wonderful under a budget. I can play RDR2 at high or ultra settings with my new rtx 3060, and it runs incredibly cool to the touch!
